usernameddr
Why do you think is the best 80's rock song?
InsaneTim
Anything from Back in Black. Master of Puppets is pretty good too.
DiggsUK
'Walk This Way' - Run DMC & Aerosmith. Why? Because I like it and IMO the 80s was a poor decade for 'rock' music. Regards
InsaneTim
Actually I like that version better than the original. BTW, I forgot about GNR. Most (not all) of the songs on that album are awesome.
fidelityfiend
There were a LOT of excellent rock songs put out in the '80s - they just didn't play them on the radio. I see Metallica and GnR were referenced already - and it also depends on how hard you like your rock, but some others..... Cult of Personality - Living Colour Spellbound - Triumph N.F.L. - Anthrax Holy Diver - Dio etc etc - I realize that these are pretty hard - but like I said - the good stuff wasn't on the radio..... OLD 55
It seems to me there's a lot of Pop songs here that surely aren't ROCK ? I'll go for Motley Crue's "Kickstart My Heart" (just snuck into the end of the 80s) and also their revival of "Smokin' In The Boys Room" plus Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock". (Didn't think old55 would like those, did you?) HeHe. And of course Van Halen's "Jump" and GNR's Rockers already mentioned. ::

miamisammy29
The Pretenders and REM didn't release any albums until the 1980's...so they were easy. I have a pretty good long-term memory, too. My short-term memory is another story, however.
