  1. There is a concert coming here with John Mellencamp and Tom Cochrane and I'm wondering if it would be worth going to to pay $60 for almost back row seats.
  2. I don't watch too many music videos but I've came across Get In Line by the Barenaked Ladies and I think it has to be one of the best I seen yet. http://youtube.com/watch?v=xaz8L9R-fvQ
  3. Fool In The Rain "...You probably have a really interesting car. You definitely do not drive a Honda Civic. There's a good chance that you smoke weed. There's a good chance you sell it."
  4. I heard it a few times before and I just heard it again (cover) while listening to Deep Purple live, the King Biscuit Flower Hour one. It goes something like this "I want to thank you for letting me ..(be with you)?.. again." Thanks
  5. There's a John Fogerty concert coming soon and I'm wondering if it's worth going. Does anyone know if he would be playing the classic CCR songs or mostly his other works. And if it is not the CCR songs is it worth going? I have not heard much of his music rather than with CCR.
  6. I am looking for synthpop songs that are kinda on the darker side but not too dark. Something like the dark part in I Got You by the split endz. Or even something like I Wear My Sunglasses At Night by Corey Hart. Any ideas?
  7. I don't really know how else to describe this. Think of Train Kept a Rolling by The Yardbirds and how it has two set of lyrics at once. I kinda like how this sounds. What are some other 60's or 70's songs that have the same type of style to them and how do you guys like that idea?
  8. Heres a big shot in the dark but you guys seem to be pretty good at this stuff. It's definitely a 60's song. It's kinda slow, downbeat and sad. I heard it a few times and it definitely sounds like a 'known' song and it is not abstract. Kinda sounds like The Zombies. All I can remember is it saying you as the first word in the chorus but even that could be misheard. I did a search and it is not You've Really Got a Hold On Me. I know the rhythm of the chorus but I don't know how to describe it. And ideas?
  9. I didn't think this one would be hard to find but no luck so far. I remember hearing the song a few times before but then I heard some add for a radio station on TV. Not sure what station it was for but it mostly had classic rock songs on it and like every other radio commercial, had Hotel California as one of the song clips. Anyway here goes the only line I can really remember is "Come on baby get this (or the?) party started" then it goes something like come on baby ............ then something that rhymes with started. Sounded like 70's to me.
  10. Just because it doesn't fit you anymore doesn't mean it doesn't fit other people...
  11. I found it! It was Once in a Lifetime by Talking Heads
