CaptainMikeRS
This is my ninth and most recent song inspired by watching the news, a somewhat dark ballad with a spiritual aspect, pop/rock tune. Almost Midnight (Written September 26, 2004 by Mike R. Smale © 2004) A child runs through the dark and vacant streets. He turns into an ally, then begins to weep. Running from a tortured past, and into a world unknown. Far away from the danger, but still, there's more to go. Almost midnight A man comes home many hours late, reeking of smoke and beer. He starts to holler at his wife, with words she will not to hear. Almost midnight Running from a tortured past, and into a world unknown. Far away from the danger, but still, there's more to go. Never quite at ease, troubled souls still wander. Heading for their paradise, wondering how much further. Someday soon the sun will rise again. marko90
That was very good! I can see that one to go along the lines of a Good Charlotte style of song...I enjoyed it!!
Aunt_Acid
I can see that one to go along the lines of a Good Charlotte style of song I wouldn't want you to ruin such a superb work of art on a GC style song. This was really good, Mike.

CaptainMikeRS
I actually wrote this with a heavey Dream Theater and Don Henley influence (from Waiting for Sleep and New York Minute).

MuzikTyme
Let's play nice while remembering that music is subjective and all the positive things involved with the word suck.

MindCrime
I actually wrote this with a heavy Dream Theater and Don Henley influence (from Waiting for Sleep and New York Minute). It definitely sounds like a Prog theme, nice work.
RBB
Really good work Mike, and as for the bands issued, I listen to Good Charlotte, and it would fit in the music, whether or not it blows. Music is music, in different forms, yet hear for the same reason.
