behindblueeyez
Anyone here know who came up with that? The sign? I have reason to believe it was Dio... am I right?
Tenacious_Peaches
I've heard it was Dio, too. He says he got it from his Italian grandmother who used it to ward off evil spirits. But I think other rockers said they've used it first...I can't remember who. I'll give my vote to Dio.
cosmosis
I vote for Dio too, but Gene Simmons says he did it first on the cover for Love Gun.

TheCyberdemon
Gene can say anything he wants, that doesn't change the fact that KISS is a joke.
Crazy Don
\m/ = Hook 'Em, Horns That's what I always thought it meant, and a sign similar to hitchhiking meant "gig 'em Aggies." And when Richard Dawson always signed off "Family Feud" with a mixture of the two, I always thought it meant "I'm a confused Texan, I don't know who to root for!" (Actually, it means "I love you" in sign language?)
Aunt_Acid
Gene can say anything he wants, that doesn't change the fact that KISS is a joke. Thank you. Also, I wouldn't be suprised if Chuck Berry invented this. Angus stole his walk.
cosmosis
Angus' walk and clothes are a joke on himself. When he was playing at a show in school, he tripped on the cables and did that 'walk' while wearing the school uniform.
