Zabadak
Blimey, really? OK - The Band's contribution was replaced. There.
Brad_M
I still can't figure it out. Maybe we need a little more of a teensy weensy hint.

Brad_M
Nice hint, Zab! The Band is the oddball. The others all had songs appear in the 1969 film and soundtrack, Easy Rider The band had a song used in the film but it was a cover version of the song that was used on the soundtrack. Zabadak
Thank God for that! Yes, The Band's contri was replaced by a cover by a band called Smith. Next... :partytime2:

Rayzor
There's a few differences here... I'll try Scorpions (not American)
Brad_M
That would be too obvious an answer. Dig deeper.
Rayzor
Scorpions didn't have #1 hit in USA
Brad_M
Actually, they did. "No One Like You" was a #1 hit for them on the U.S. Billboard Top Tracks chart (Mainstream Rock) in 1982. Of those four groups, Alice Cooper and Motley Crue are the ones that have never had a #1 song in the U.S. Try looking at album covers of these groups. Rayzor
That was a MASSIVE hint... Styx because they don't show the band on their albums
Brad_M
Awww, but they do. The first two albums by Styx showed the band on the album covers.

Brad_M
I don't know what else to hint without giving it away. Look at all album covers by each group and take notice of what you see for three of them and what you don't see for one of them.
Zabadak
Alice Cooper doesn't have a logo as such?
Brad_M
Biggest hint so far: Three of these groups have the same type of animal on at least one of their album covers while one of the group's covers do not.
Zabadak
Scorpions albums have scorpions, not snakes? :badcomp:
Brad_M
Yes! Zabba-Dabba-Doo :happybanana: No snakes on any of Scorpions album covers. All the others had at least one album cover with a snake on it.
