MindCrime
^ That's far from being their most popular song though.
TheLizard
That was supposed to be in the "What song are you listening to?" thread and I had a total brainfart. Such things are happening to me a lot lately.
Steel2Velvet
I like Led Zeppelin but I HATE HATE HATE Stairway To Heaven. Thank you. I thought I was the only one. Love Lennon. But feel Imagine just too over the top.
MindCrime
Stayin' Alive by the Bee Gees, though I'm not really into them anyways.
skybluesky
I'm sure I will get slaughtered in my sleep by a cabal of people here for admitting this, but, I don't like Jimi Hendrix. I get why other people do, but I've just never been able to get into him.

skybluesky
No I mean the angry mob will break into my apartment and slit my throat while I'm asleep. I think that's what being in a cabal is all about.
Steel2Velvet
Agree it is one the best albums ever made, but feel there are at least 8 songs better than the title track (which AOR radio stations play ad nauseum) on "Layla" by Derek and the Dominoes. lonelyday
No I mean the angry mob will break into my apartment and slit my throat while I'm asleep. I think that's what being in a cabal is all about. What's a cabal? I love Jimi, but I'm not a particularly murderous person so it's all g. I feel the same way about Metallica though...I can understand that they're a decent band, but really don't hear the greatness that is supposed to ooze out of them. pinkstones
What's a cabal? According to dictionary.com it is 1. a small group of secret plotters, as against a government or person in authority. 2. the plots and schemes of such a group; intrigue. 3. a clique, as in artistic, literary, or theatrical circles. RyanTurtle
Light My Fire - The Doors (Entirely too much organ) Sweet Home Alabama AND Freebird - Lynyrd Skynyrd Santeria - Sublime Stairway to Heaven - Led Zeppelin Seven Nation Army - White Stripes and so many more
MindCrime
Jump - Van Halen to a degree You Shook Me All Night Long - AC/DC, but I kinda like this song, but dont believe it's their best just most overplayed. Whenever I hear this on the radio, I would rather hear one of their other songs.
LeeBB
Moondance - Van Morrison Love Van. Love the Moondance album, but how did that track get in there? Completely out of place on that country/soul album (and really, just not very good compared to every other track). LBB
Batman
It is really out of place on the album, but it's one of my favorite Van songs
MindCrime
It's far from being his most popular too, usually I think of Brown Eyed Girl as his most popular / overplayed.
LeeBB
It's far from being his most popular too, usually I think of Brown Eyed Girl as his most popular / overplayed. I'd like to see some stats on that. Maybe it's just that Moondance (the song) makes me die a little every time it comes on the radio ;-)

MindCrime
I guess Moondance is pretty up there, I guess I just always over looked the song.
pinkstones
Brown Eyed Girl is definitely his signature song. Moondance is a well-known song yes, but I'd never call it his most popular number. As far as Pink Floyd goes (my particular group), their most popular radio songs are Money and ABITW pt. 2. The former I can tolerate, the latter I can't. I absolutely loathe and detest ABITW pt. 2. MindCrime
Light My Fire - The Doors I agree, it's too played and anytime I hear it, I'd rather listen to one of their other songs.
LeeBB
Actually, just about *any* song by the Doors would be a song I don't much care for. Just between you and me...
