TheLizard
Pretty much that whole album (Electric Ladyland) is good to lay back and groove on a rainy day.
Lucky
While over the years they both have devleoped a reputation of being "Adult Contemporary" or "Adult Listening" neither of these was considered that in the beginning, and they are both great for rainy day dreaming ... Levis
I know it's obvious but nothing tastes better than sneakerstaring in that sort of weather. It's very cloudy, rainy, dreamy, floaty - just perfect Massive Attack or UNKLE go well too.
Farin
^ right, anything trip-hop should work well, especially Portishead, of course
BlueAngel
^Agreed, it's kind of a bleak day here and I've got Dummy playing now. I also like something by Codeine, Bedhead or the Verve. Another favourite album for this kind of weather is Beck's Sea Change, IMO his best album. An incredibly beautiful and sad "breakup" record that has not only surprisingly poignant lyrics but also a wonderfully melodic, warm atmospheric sound.
