Thanks Laurie. :)

If these are the songs you're considering nominating in the regular TT, some of them have my vote (namely #1)

Sorry Kenne. I missed what you said in this Post. They're all songs I originally nominated that didn't make it ! I'll gradually renominate the most popular ones.

:)

Thanks Radhi. :) I see the Troggs' "With A Girl Like You' (18 Points/ 26 with Katie's vote) is currently #1 on the Songfacts Daily AND Weekly Top Tens, which I understand are based on the number of 'hits' on the song in the Main Index.

I wonder why ? :shades:

Has it been featured in some U.S TV show, or are The surviving Troggs on tour there ? Can someone help out please ! When you wake up in the U.S. will do; there's just Australians (one honorary) and Europeans here at the moment.

Darryl I googled looking for recent use of the song ... all I found was a recent cover of the song by artist Dave Sitek on a compilation called "Dark Was the Night" , a charity release for AIDs/HIV fund raising and awareness. I wouldn't think that would have done it ...?

Thanks Lucky. :)

As you said, I don't think that would be enough to have people suddenly hitting on The Troggs' version here. I thought some popular American Idol contestant might have sung it on TV - or something like that. I even googled to make sure Reg Presley hadn't died suddenly. That's always a great career move for a while.
