Here's a hint! lol MindCrime, the answer was Richard Bachman but I give you credits for acknowledging Long Walk Stephen King had a way of writing foreboding feelings of doom and despair. He bought those words when he got ran over by a vehicle. (in Bangor Maine?) Oh well, he just got richer because of it. Good for him, my favourite author.
