it's staying pretty hot in london too and shockingly, it is hotter than athens! I wanted to go swimming when i go back to athens tonight but it might not be hot enough

It was 76 today and clear. Tomorrow is supposed to be 66 and windy. I hope that is accurate, as I will be hiking up in Azusa Canyon tomorrow morn.

Cumulus or stratus?

In my neck of the world, it's been rainy for the past two weeks, hence my interest in the order of clouds.

Does anyone but me remember the old Irish Spring soap commercial? It went:

" Manly, yes! But ..."

Yesterday I went out in the street at 9.30 in the morning, it was hot and sunny. Two hours later it was raining and I was freezing.

I know one thing, last Tuesday I got slightly sunburned. This Monday I wore a winter coat.

So what do I wear? My green raincoat and a sweater? My summer shirt and my white denim coat on? My leather jackett? Boots or sneakers? Jeans, leggings or a skirt? No nice summer high heels shoes, of course...

I got sunburnt yesterday and it wasn't even that hot!

You can get sunburnt even in the depths of winter somewhere cold and icy ( though the wind often helps out at times ) ... mind your sunscreen , Invisible.

Sunburn is the most common thing when you go skiing on the mountain.

But that´s because the snows reflects the light...
