invisible_r Posted May 11, 2008 Report Posted May 11, 2008 that sucks! well, this isn't a proper shortage, it's just suppliers strike which results in a shortage for the consumers. although diesel seems to be fine as apparently truck drivers are also on strike. sometimes I wonder whether Greece is truly a capitalist country...
edna Posted May 13, 2008 Report Posted May 13, 2008 Now I have to buy a special wrench to install the battery... I wonder if I´ll ever have the chance -and when- to know how expensive diesel is by now
MarcM Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 3.91 for 87 again. At least it hasnt gone up since my last fill up.
phil Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 $4.13 for reg. unleaded. Who would have thunk it?
MarcM Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I heard somewhere today that crude went up another 20 cents.....
Crazy Don Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 On the 6 pm news today there was a report of a station selling gas for $4.059 a gallon! (It was in a rural region) In town, it's $3.959. Seems like it's not gonna get any cheaper soon. Diesel is selling for over $4.50 a gallon here! (US regulations call for a low-sulfur diesel, which is why it's so expensive!)
Ombre Vivante Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Over 4 bucks a pop. I stopped watching after 4.10USD. We invade one of the world's richest oil countries and THIS is what we get?! I'm ready for a coup d'etat on this alone.
MuzikTyme Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Sad but I'm paying the same for a gallon of gas as I do for a gallon of milk.
edna Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Diesel is selling for over $4.50 a gallon here! (US regulations call for a low-sulfur diesel, which is why it's so expensive!) It´s very expensive in Europe too. Actually, it´s more expensive than gas. And milk is a bit cheaper... only a bit...
Ken Posted May 26, 2008 Report Posted May 26, 2008 Prince Waleed of Saudi Arabia got himself a diamond encrusted Mercedes SL600. Remember that when gas hits five bucks a gallon.
Jenny Posted May 27, 2008 Report Posted May 27, 2008 It's better than knowing that your money funded a terrorist training camp......it still stinks, though!
Kevin Posted May 28, 2008 Report Posted May 28, 2008 $6.12 come June 1st for high octane , $6 for regular ... Glad I bought that little Volkswagen a few months ago . As for my wife's choice of a BMW sedan * gun to head graemlin * - thank God at least it was used, and can be dumped if necessary !
