Nine Inch Nails did the original, as far I know Joy Division didn't do a cover of it, but Die Krupps did do a cover(it was on a tribute album to NIN).

Metallica for bringing hair metal to its knees Black Sabbath you can hear their influence in almost any metal band. And they have some kick a** riffs. The Sex Pistols for starting punk and including politics in their lyrics. Rage Against The Machine for being the first popular 90's band to include political themes.

I don't think Metallica ever released an instrumental version of Nothing Else Matters, so it's going to be a tad hard to find it...

Has anyone heard of them? If so any opinions on them? It's basically the London Philharmonic Orchestra doing led zeppelin songs, no vocals of course...but they're actually pretty good...
