What originally made me go out and buy Echoes last year (Pink Floyds Greatest Hits) was hearing Comfortably Numb covered by some local band. I had heard an awful version of Another Brick In the Wall part II before that but it was a very horrible version. The first Pink Floyd with Syd I heard was Arnold Layne and remains my favorite Syd.
