  1. As a drinking song, 'The Fog On The Tyne' is more appropriately done by Gazza. For anybody who is unaware of his work, Gazza is a Geordie lad famous for being one of the best footballers this country has ever produced, drinking and wearing false breasts. Why-aye canny lad, howay! Regards

    I love....

I love the power of t'internet. Playing one dealer off another I have secured a new car at £500 less than the same car second-hand and 1 year old, plus a 23% saving on MRRP. Not very interesting I know, but it has made me happy! Regards
  3. Last year Peter Green played our local club - the equivalent of a 'working-men's club' of old, with capacity for about 200. One of the best guitarists I have ever seen, and shared a urinal with. Regards
  4. Anything from 'Rum, Sodomy and the Lash' by The Pogues should do. Or 'Cigarettes and Alcohol' by Oasis. What about 'Lilly the Pink'? Regards

    I love....

I love: My kid's laughter. My wife's patience, understanding and her bum's not bad either. Feeling like I've done a worthwhile job (once I have been paid of course). Travelling from 0-60 in 3 seconds with the front end lifting and the rear squirming. Chocolate. A good night out. Peace and quiet. Just a few things.... Regards
  6. I'm confused. Whats the point to this? Surely if folk want to hear demonic messages they can replay some of Margaret Thatcher's old speeches, or indeed Arthur Scargill. Regards
  7. I think it means 'what is your reason?', but my Franglais isn't up to much these days. Regards
  8. Wonderfully written Mairi. Does it mean that the author is driving the other person away and doesn't know it until it is too late? Regards
  9. As an aside, I was suprised when they announced on the radio that it is 'erectile disfunction' day today. I didn't see any posters, so I guess they couldn't get them up! Regards
  10. I read it and I didn't understand it. I don't know if that is me being thick, or something missing from the piece. Regards
  11. The Passion of the Christ - I couldn't understand a word. Troy - badly scripted, badly acted pap. Alexander - likewise. I disagree with Pulp Fiction, Reservior Dogs and Kill Bill though. I guess you either like Tarantino or you find him intensely disjointed, laddish and irritating. Regards
  12. I can't think of any appropriate for a crucifiction, but 'I Am The Resurection And The Light' by the Stone Roses would be perfect for his next appearance! Regards
  13. That would be some trick Foxy. If I could do that I'd be the new LL Bowen, with a twist! Regards
  14. Your place or mine, baby! Regards
  15. I'm piscean, so Foxy.... Regards
  16. They were all contestants on 'Celebrity Hide the Fruit'. Courtney Love won apparently with her avacado, sweet potato and savoy cabbage 'back door' salad, with Madonna a close second with her impersonation of a camel's hoof eating mange tout. Regards
  17. Some of us have the decency to keep such thoughts to ourselves! Regards
  18. Good choice Scott. I got that CD over Christmas, and I love it too! XXX - some CUD lyrics: The Mystery Deepens It's the first time in my life that I've given a damn, 'Cos you see I'm in love with Miss Thing, And her beautiful thang, I only wanted to grow fond, Yet the mystery deepens with each wave of her wand, The the mystery deepens with each wave, Of her wand, Take the stuffing out of your bra, It's only there to disguise how wonderful you are, How wonderful you are. She spends her time just sleeping, While the mystery deepens, With each wave of her wand. Fogiveness is God's job, And it sure ain't mine, Right time wrong place, I'll pay you in kind, I haven't got any money, that doens't mean I don't want you, Please give me a chance to explain. How can I take the blame? I don't know what you dream, But I've seen so many things, That don't seem what they seem, Is that your natural colour? Because if it is there's really no need to bother, There really is no need, I'm sure you'll discover, We always make love so lazy, You seem to reach deep inside of me, Your rouge comes of in my hand. Regards
  19. 'Walk This Way' - Run DMC & Aerosmith. Why? Because I like it and IMO the 80s was a poor decade for 'rock' music. Regards
  20. Edna, they were both a great influence on you? or Did Leonard Cohen write 'Beat on the Brat'? Regards
  21. Edna, is that to the tune of 'New England' by Billy Bragg? Regards
  22. Ok, what about 'Autumn Song' by Van 'the Irish mumbler' Morrison. I cheated here and Googled. I really must get back to work. Regards
  23. What about 'September Song' by Kurt Weill? It's about age as opposed to a season, but it is about the autumn of one's life. Wonderful song. Regards
  24. I don't think you would want the site associated with 'cheesy crackers' though! Regards
