  1. Yeah, good point! So I guess that would be IMO2. ::
  2. Since you brought it up, I must state my opinion which is: Nirvana was good...but they were not and ARE NOT that good!
  3. Hey CyberD, I bet you are one of those guys who NEVER cries huh??
  4. Oh....thanks Batman. LOL! That makes it funnier actually. And yes it WAS Kip and Lafawnduh...and Kip sings her a song that is hilarious! And Napoleon rides up on a horse and says, "Sorry I'm late, I had to tame this wild Stud" LMAO!
  5. Who knows why we like sad songs, movies, books, etc. You could always include information in your essay (a page or so) on Lachrymology which is the science or crying as a therapy. It's kind of interesting. I personally believe crying IS a therapy because it releases pent-up anger, anxiety, sadness, frustration, etc. Just a thought anyway. Good luck with your essay.
  6. Mr. Brownstone ~ Guns and Roses
  7. I know huh! Oh hey...wait...wasn't his name Dr. Satan? I thought that's what it was...oh well...yeah, the movie was pretty lacking...but I find horror flicks funny...I'm sure everyone would if they could just get past the special effects and blood and gore...
  8. What can I say about The Village ? That is 2 whole hours of my life that I can't ever, ever, ever get back! Not to mention the $17 for 2 tickets!! :: I did understand what he was trying to do....but he didn't. I kept sitting there thinking, 'Okay NOW something good is going to happen....no wait...okay NOW...nope...okay THIS must be the climax....oh...nope' It was a sorry excuse for a movie in general especially to the horror/thriller genre. Opiate gives
  9. My sister and I went and saw it last weekend. Our sides hurt from laughing so hard!!! I am pretty sure that we laughed more than anyone...just our sense of humor I suppose. "Your stuffs in my locker so can you come and get it...I don't have anymore room for my numchucks" kid: What are you doing today Napoleon? Napoleon: Whatever I feel like GOD!!! Oh yeah, did you stay through the credits?? For the little wedding scene at the end???
  10. TOO MANY!! I love Rock, Classical, New POP, Old POP, "Oldies" (50's & 60's), Metal (when in the mood), All types of Folk music, Meditation music, Jazz....and I would say that's pretty much it. I like Country sometimes but, for me, it is bareable on a ONE song at a time basis. ::
  11. The Indiana Jones Trilogy! I know they are SO cheezy and none of that could ever happen to a real human being...but they are fun! ::
  12. This weekend my sister and I went to see "Napoleon Dynamite". It was hilarious!! Why was it so hilarious?? I'm not really sure....I think it's that everyone knew someone like him when they were in high school.
  13. One of my favorite "One Hit Wonders" is: The Promise by When In Rome
  14. Thanks DaveG!! I had to go back and look at my post since I asked that back in April! I didn't even know what question you were talking about at first.
  15. I don't have any numbers to share...but I would think that the "Forrest Gump" soundrack would be pretty high on the chart??? Ya think?? :: "The Crow" soundrack was really popular from what I remember too.
  16. Hey Batman! Isn't fun to make up your own words?? I am just messin' with you!
  17. Stupid Girl ~~ Garbage Money ~~ Pink Floyd (There's also another "money" song by some British girl...can't think of her name...that would also be fitting) I can just see Martha in the shower singing into the soap... ALL...BY...MY...SELF!!
  18. I have a lot but one of my very favorites is: Immortality by Pearl Jam
  19. Hey XXX....Which "dude" in the forum are you speaking to??
  20. I won't ever fail to miss a performance by her after I caught the end of some rediculous mediochre show she performed on...I can't remember what it was now.
  21. Avril...Not only does she NOT have a great singing voice, her lyrics are crap & her performance is boring. I think I just have more respect for people when they are as great or even BETTER in live performances. This, to me, is the true test of an artist's or group's talent and ability. Because we ALL know, studio effects ie. echo, fade, making the voice appear to be twice as powerful than what it really is, can do wonders for the less than talented. I have noticed that some people really just don't care if a performer or group is terrible during a live concert. They are just happy that they are there...which is kind of cute in a naive way. But I myself will then see them in a whole new light if they lack talent on stage.
  22. I generally get embarassed when I'm blasting music in my car with the windows rolled down. I will be listening to some "soft-rock" station and a song like Gloria Estefan's "Anything For You" will be on, or I am listening to my best of "Depeche Mode" two disc set, (ofcourse I am singing to the top of my lungs and rockin' out as if the song just came out or something) and find myself turning it WAY down when I come to a stop light incase anyone else has their window down....I am trying to overcome this "fear" of being judged simply for my eclectic taste in music....so that's a step in the right direction I guess.
  23. Okay then: Here are some older songs; Jodi Whatly~ Don't you want me? SWV~ Weak Madonna~ Crazy for you New Songs; Ashanti~ Ah Baby (I think that's the name) :: Edwin McCain~ I'll be (maybe, it's more of a love song) I'm sorry...at the moment I am drawing a blank... kind of embarassing since I acted like I had a lot...I will think of more I promise!
