  4. Ok guys I need help, I'm getting forgetful in my old age. I'm pretty sure bluesy might know this but help from anyone would be appreciated. I was trying last nite to tell someone about this song, but could not remember the guys name. I want to say Ray K something. He was a major guitarist with another band, but I cannot remember that either. It's kind of a novelty song, and he takes turns doing it in the style of various people, everyone from Johnny Cash to Ozzy Osbourne. Very long. It's really good, and he does a good job of imitating everyone. Help!!! ::
  5. :: :: :: that's ok honey, the rest of us do. ::
  6. chris, leave it to you. all the harmonica songs out there and you think Roger Daltry played one at the end of Baba O'Reilly!!! just joking kiddo! ::
  7. well I was gonna reply but everyone kind of beat me to it. I don't know what particular kind of music you like, but if you like blues, the harmonica is the most expressive insrtument in the band. really any type music, but blues shows just how expressive the harmonica can be as far as conveying feelings. just a random thought.
  8. Oh celeste honey welcome, and thanks to you and the other songfactors. They know why. Sweetie, songs are good, friends are better. There can be some really good ones here. I know what I'm talking about. Take these suggestions and run with them. Literally. ::
  9. That's what Colin told me too. That's why I got the sbc dsl. I was on AOL, and he would freak everytime he used my computer, at how slow everything was. I had also tried Kazaa, after the dsl, and it would never connect. I got winmx and that works great.
  10. elvy call the computer geek in the family.when you start removing things, unless you really know what you are doing, you can remove stuff you need for optimum performance(wow, now that sounded good!). When I got dsl, things weren't running right, had the sbc techs out here 3 separate times. They kept saying that there was a powerful new virus going around. Sounded good to me. Then my son in law (he built and programmed the computer)came over and in about 10 minutes had the thing up and running perfectly. I'll loan him to you for 10 bucks!

  15. I heard John Mayer(is that his name?)on the today show this morning doing a song about fathers be good to your daughters. Now I don't care for this guy much, I can't understand much of his lyrics. but the words were pretty good. anyone know it?
  16. This disaster has been horrible. We can only imagine something of that magnitude. What it has done to those people. Here where I live we suffered through the great flood of 93, considered a 500 year flood when the Mississippi and Missouri rivers flooded out entire communities.. I saw entire houses washed away, homes that normally were no where near the river. I saw what the power of Mother Nature can do. But I just cannot fathom the destruction and devastation that these poor people are dealing with. I wish them all the best in this situation. What a way to begin a new year. I hope it does not get much worse, before it begins to get better.
  17. Oh lord that's probably true. I haven't heard it but will now. it's probably just what I'm looking for. Thanks Carole
