i used to have that with placebo, they were one of my favorite bands and "every you every me" became very popular because it was part of the cruel intentions soundtrack, so everyone loved placebo all of a sudden but they only knew one song. same with the dandy warhols, and "bohemian like you" being in the vodafone ad. i think some people even called it vodafone song!

you should definitely check radiohead out! they are amazing! i think they made a difference to a whole generation of depressed and angry teenagers (myself included). i recommend "the bends" and "ok computer".

i think they just couldnt be bothered with the greek audience (who adores them btw, i know people who said it was the greatest gig they d ever been to just cos it was the pixies), cos my friend who also saw them in london said they were great.

i wasnt very impressed with shawn of the dead either, especially because everyone had told me it was VERY FUNNY, but i didnt think it was that bad...

nothing as impressive as most people i guess, but my favorite ones have been: rolling stones, the dandy warhols, placebo, muse, R.E.M., BUSH, grandaddy, PULP, mogwai the two that made me cry of excitment were radiohead and the cure, both amazing i also saw the pixies over the summer and they were terrible, i dont know if they played differently in each place. in greece they didnt say a word and just kept playing non-stop. also, they didnt play "where is my mind?", argh!

surely u mean creep by radiohead, and yes, they have been around for quite some time. and they have lots of other great songs, creep is just the start

not exactly dance, but all Grandaddy songs are very depressing, but cover that up with an upbeat or happy melody

apart from being cheesy, id say they are mostly just plain stupid "really really wanna zigazig ah" that makes sooo much sense

Im very proud of it, hollywood just likes ruining everything to make it appealing to the masses (and by the way I hated the iliad in school). thats why i refuse to watch alexander, jolie's accent is supposed to be greek? sounded more russian to me

lets see... batman and robin i think is the only movie i went to watch in the cinema and ended up chatting to my friends cos i wanted to go, sooo bad! troy was awful as well, the acting was terrible, the plot was destroyed (Im greek so that kinda pissed me off too)

oh my, its like the stupid "band aid" thing gain, which was dreadful, but yet i felt guilty for not byuing it because it was for charity. Also, i agree, its not just any song, it is a very personal song, and they could have really chosen any old sad song, OR, what a novel idea, written a NEW one!

but "love on the rocks with no ice" sounds more like they dont really want to be together, doesnt it? how about "boys dont cry" by the cure or "lover you should have come over" by jeff buckley?

anything by radiohead i would say is depressing! i think for me its creep and fake plastic trees ("if i could be who you wanted all the time..") and grandaddy songs too, especially miner at the dial-a-view, thats really depressing

not that it matters but amazon.co.uk has them as "killers" whereas amazon.com has them as "the killers" anyway...

I believe its "Killers" rather than "the killers" by the way
