  1. I think it's time to pull the plug on Van Halen. They have too many issues. Heck, their issues have issues. Too bad though. Hell of a band at one time.
  2. "Born To Be Wild" by Steppenwolf....duh.
  3. Keith Richards has done drugs??? How could anybody tell? Certainly not by looking at him......
  4. Any long road trip has to have "King Of The Road" by Roger Miller.
  5. For me,without question,it's the Eagles. Their music seems to fit my every mood.
  6. "Nights In White Satin" by The Moody Blues. The "talking part" at the end.
  7. I like both but if I had to chose,it would be The Moody Blues.
  8. Looks like birth control isn't working very well.
  9. I pretty much just remember him from the "Jaws" movies, and the original is still one of my favorites of all time. His line "You're going to need a bigger boat" is a classic from a classic movie.
  10. Grand Funk Railroad #1!!! One of the best bands EVER. :guitar:
  11. I think ELO is also underated. I have always been a huge fan. But I personally don't agree with your comment about AC/DC being overated. I know their music is and always has been an acquired taste, much like ELO,but there is no doubt in my mind for pure, hard rocking rock and roll, few have done it better than AC/DC. Just my opinion and I respect yours.
  12. 1.We're An American Band - Grand Funk Railroad...how this song never made the top 10 is beyond me. 2.The Load Out/Stay - Jackson Browne 3.Tequila - The Champs...can't help but think of Pee Wee Herman when I hear this song. 4.Heart and Soul - Huey Lewis and the News 5.Hangman Jury - Aerosmith 6.All I really Want To Do - The Byrds 7.The Seeker - The Who 8.Shambala - Three Dog Night 9.Whiskey In The Jar - Thin Lizzy 10.With Your Love - Jefferson Airplane I hope to be able to make some nominations next week. '08 hasn't been kind so far.
  13. Can't wait to hear your thoughts once you do.
  14. Hold the mayo!!!...New Years resolutions ya know.
  15. As to number 8 on your list,I resemble that remark.
  16. I must live under a rock because I haven't heard of hardly any of the movies,tv shows or the stars. I think maybe I'm the one who needs to get a life so I know who and what they are.
  17. The intro to "Colour My World" by Chicago.
  18. I felt sorry for her in the past but when things like this happen over and over it's hard to keep feeling that way. To not show up at hearings that concern her own children but yet she goes out at all hours of the night partying show's she has little respect for her kids or herself. I no longer feel sorry for her but I sure do feel sorry for her kids. They are the ones who will pay the price for the stupidity of their mother.
  19. When 6 police cars,2 ambulances and a fire truck show up at your home to wisk you away to a hospital, you know you have made the big time. Also,I think most of us were told by our parents to always have on clean undies just in case you have to go to the hospital suddenly. With Ms. Spears,I'm sure this will never be an issue since, well, she don't wear undies.
  20. I was lucky to recieve many great gifts this Christmas but the best without question was a copy of the Eagles "Long Road Out Of Eden" deluxe collectors edition CD. This amazing group sounds the same or even better than they did back in their heyday of the 1970's. I know there has been some discussion of this CD on here and it has been out a few months, but for Eagles lovers this CD is a must have. The hamonies, musicanship and song writting is outstanding. I know there has been some debate on here about where the Eagles place in music history belongs but in my opinion there have been few groups that match their talent. Simply put, they are a great band.
  21. Great top 10. Good to see Bob Seger,ZZ Top and Deep Purple in there.
  22. 1.Eight Days A Week - The Beatles 2.I Thank You - ZZ Top 3.Still The Same - Bob Seger 4.La Bamba - Ritchie Valens 5.Walk Tall - John Mellencamp 6.I Wanna Know What Love Is - Foreigner 7.Miss You - The Stones 8.Hey Hey What Can I Do - Led Zepp 9.Space Truckin'- Deep Purple 10.Rocky Mountain High - John Denver Hard choices and it's great to be back.
