I'd have to agree on Aerosmith. I liked "Dream On" for a while when I was younger, but there really isn't a song of theirs that I can stand to listen to.

I really don't think that music by genre is related to personality, though the music that a person listens to certainly is. This study seems to get ideas from stereotypes of certain genres; classical is relaxing, rock is rebellious and loud, etc. I disagree with these and feel that any genre can do any emotion.

I was just wanting to try recording myself playing some stuff just for the hell of it, and I was wondering if anyone here would happen to have any experience with music recording. I'd just like some suggestions on what software or equipment is good to start with. For instance, should I just get a computer program and a mic for my computer, or would you suggest something more old-fashioned, like tapes?

I think another reason why a lot of people like starbucks is because it's neat, consistent and completely risk-free. You can walk into a starbucks anywhere and expect to consistently get your favourite caffeinated beverage made exactly the way that you are familiar with from other starbucks. It sounds pretty boring, but there are a lot of unadventurous people out there.
