These Are The Days Of Our Lives - Queen I'm Going Slightly Mad - Queen I was listening to Queens Greatest Hits when I got the phonecall to say that my step-dad had been taken to hospital with a suspected heart attack in January this year, always haunted me that I had to pause 'These Are The Days Of Our Lives' to take the phonecall. 8. I totally agree - 'Will you' by Hazel O'Connor has a lovely sax piece throughout it and quite a long one near the end, very sensual song.
  9. Gotta get this one off my chest, recently downloaded what I thought was going to be a better quality MP3 of "Poison" by Alice Cooper, got to listening to it and it was some awful trance remix with a female voice, gotta say I was horrified and deleted it withing the first 30 seconds...lol
  10. Well, theres Alex Parks who comes from a town about 10 miles from me... and the more recent one is Thirteen Senses (think they are 35th in the Top 40 at the mo), I went to school with Brendon the drummer and Tom the guitarist.
  11. Wouldn't say it's the greatest song of all time, but certainly one of my greats at the moment: "Poison" - Alice Cooper
  12. In no particular order: Bruce Springsteen Roxy Music Fleetwood Mac Iron Maiden Def Leppard Status Quo Whitesnake Alice Cooper Queen Thin Lizzy
  13. You'll have a long wait. Refer to my loooooong post for Nine.
  14. And the rules for that game are...? Like I said, I didn't come here to argue with anyone, or ruin anyones fun, just because I posted the ones I knew in one post, they are ignored. Doesn't mean I did anything less than anyone else etc, on top of that you really have a patronising tone. It would not be me leaving because of other people or their personalities, humour, beliefs etc it would be because I cannot stand patronisation and don't need it! And I assume by the 'we are not picking on you', you mean You. Just get on with the game for for everyones sake...
  15. No. I don't think they 'revolutionised' anything. It was grunge, and lots of groups did similar tracks to Nirvanas before they did and were never called revolutionary. Their music wasn't particularly amazing, if you are talking about revolutionarys we should be looking at The Beatles, Elvis etc, true greats of the music industry. (BTW I don't actually like Elvis or The Beatles anymore than Nirvana)
  16. I had about 2000 songs on my computer, but deleted about a 1000 I didn't have alot of time for anymore. Have about 100 CDs after giving a lot away to a charity shop...all the evil pop stuff ::
  17. As I am "new" - please point me to where the 'game rules' are please? The tone is still very patronising.
  18. Not planning to argue with anyone, but I joined the board to have some fun, a few laughs and post.... From what I can see, if you have something to post, especially in a game where you are actually asking for some particular knowledge, if you know it you should post. Not quite sure why my post seems to have been just glanced over and you've gone on thirteen again....guess I didn't play by "the rules" and my post is ignored! All for fair play. Thanks and goodbye. Edit: CrazyDon and MindCrime...better watch out you've both posted more than once in one post..remember thats not allowed ::
  19. Ah well....didn't see that anywhere in "the rules" So sorry if I have spoiled your fun..... jrownsdega, but in the end...just a game ...no-one hurt and if you know one you should post, I did know them, so I posted! Sounded REALLY patronising...so thanks for that.
