He should have went. Lifetime Achievement means celebrating what you've done in your lifetime. People appreciated Led Zep's music, and it was crass of him not to acknowledge those people.

That's a beautiful piece of singing. It's not like she was buried in the background. It is an integral part of hte album. She should be compensated for it.

Oddly enough, I feel sorry for her. She's just lost. Grasping for someone to love her, is the impression I get.

Anyone who's been here a while knows I enjoy downloading and burning cds. I always like to have a theme of some sort, and I have decided to burn a cd with the work of George, Ringo, John and Paul's post Beatles work. Any suggestions? I know I could easily fill up a cd or two, I just like to hear what others enjoy. I can gather songs I might not normally think to put on a cd myself. Thanks, Songfactors.

And the winners are: Windy1 hits both the weight and length dead on the money. 11 lbs 7 oz. And Carl is closest on time with 1:22am, missing by a mere 52 minutes. I forget who wins what, though. I will have to go back and look. Elvy, congrats. You have achieved the ultimate status: Mom.

Somehow this thread went from soul to funk. Yet another sabotaged SF thread.

I'll bet Elvy's baby could beat up Britney's baby.

What? No Tower of Power?

When do they consider themselves not lost anymore? I mean, when you first get there, you don't know where you are, you don't know your way around, so, sure, you're lost. But after a while, you're not lost anymore, are you? You know your way around, and where all your stuff is.....

I looked it up, and Elvy's last post was Thursday 4-7 at 3:35. Almost 48 hours ago. I think the baby is here. :happybanana: :happybanana: We're all aunts and uncles, and don't even know it yet.

Oh, wait....I must be honest and amend my staement... I did watch a little bit of the Osbournes. Maybe 2- 2 1/2 episodes. But it was Ozzy, so I am going to excuse myself. LOL.Let myself off the hook.

:doh:Geez, ER, how could I forget Neil Young. His stuff is way fun to play. Like RJS said, Needle and the Damage Done is a lot of fun to play. It's also beautiful.

I have an impressive streak going of never, ever watching any reality show. The second you start filming, reality stops.
-
Doesn't every song tell a story of some sort?
-
They're 10. They're discovering other stuff now. I look in my Limewire, and there is stuff like Bowling For Soup.
-
Dust in the Wind is a lot of fun to play, and not nearly as difficult as one would think.
-
Well....let's look at the 'reality' of the situation...

It's a series of cds where kids cover pop tunes, or have little poppy songs of their own. These are kids on children's programming on either Disnet Channel or Nickelodeon, I forget. They're harmless. I don't mind them, and I've always let my kids listen to them. Like I said before, they are expanding now. I moniter what my kids listen to, and it always pleases me when they discover a cool 'new' song. (i.e. almost every movie I take them to see is peppered with stuff that's at least 20 years old LOL) I've encouraged music since they were very young. I am following my mom's lead, and letting them develop their own tastes.
-
Does this mean they've been filming this the whole time? Oh, no, it's not for publicity. Geez.
-
My kids have a handful of those Kidz Bop cds. They're 10 now, and they're starting to expand their musical horizons. I mean, aside from what 'dad listens to', they're looking around on their own. Thankfully, I have raised them right, and I have never seen a rap song in the Limewire. LOL. Of course, they aren't teens, yet.

Wow, I just realized...Elvy is 10 days past her due date.

So, no John Deacon?

Any word on what the attendance was? I think that will be the proof. We've heard from the suits. What do the fans have to say? What about John Deacon?
