  1. The film is a musical, so the soundtrack should be the musical...? Or do you mean the score without the vocals? I actually have a soundtrack for a film titled The Phantom Of The Opera... with Robert Englund as the title character! Yah, the guy who played Freddy Krueger is Opera Ghost in this instance. This should've been an easy transition without having to take the make-up from one set to the other. The movie was not bad, but definitely not for purists. At least it was better than Dario Argento's version (which starred Julian Sands). As you can see, at least Englund stuck to the original roots of the character. Someone should wave a skunk in front of Argento
  2. "Steven? You wanna do that again?" said Morrissey at the end of "I Started Something I Couldn't Finish" from Strangeways Here We Come

These posts are funny. I'm thinking "irony" here, but that would be an incorrect usage of the term. It's more like a "funny coincidence" Best Pink Floyd stuff was when Syd was cutting songs with them, but everybody wets their pants at The Wall
  4. Hehe. I like Endymion's reply. The endings to Walkabout and Como Era Gostoso O Meu Frances

This reminds me to not get married to someone I haven't shared a bed with Imagine getting WAPISH! right in the middle of the night for no reason
  6. Spinal Tap did it better. Who's up to spin Shark Sandwich? Don't believe the reviews
  7. "You're My Best Friend" by Queen "I'll Be There" by The Jackson 5
  8. The recent film version is the exception. I loved the book and thought they'd make a mess of it, but it was surprisingly good.
  9. Getting a band back together would be awesome. I bet I could get more funeral guests if I got The Smiths or The Police back together for me funeral. That's gonna happen when hell freezes over, so I'd most def have Chris Isaak play tunes at my funeral
  10. Question: How do I download zip files from those sites? I click on the name of the file and I get nothing. I got those same sites, but when I tried to download the song, it said it was unavailable...? Do I need some program to dl zip files? Omg! THIS IS SCHWEEET! The third site had it on mp3!!!
  11. An mp3 for "Bokutachi Wa Tenshi Datta"? That's one of the ending theme songs for Dragon Ball Z. I have it on cassette, which I recorded straight from the tellie, but it's so worn out that I can barely hear the vocals Yah! It's that good! I love that tune. I've searched mp3 and anime sites, but nuthin's coming up... Any help would be greatly appreciated. You know? Like I'd owe an eyetooth if an mp3 of this song is found

I was hanging out at this girl's apartment last night, watching the tellie plunked on the couch, eating a bowl of cereal, talking and laughing. Then I went to the kitchen and was cleaning the dishes. Thing is, I'd never met this girl, didn't even know her name, but everything was so familiar that it didn't cross my mind until I woke up and realised it was a dream...
  14. Sally Struthers was a hottie back then. I recall seeing her first playing the gun moll in The Getaway. Who'd have imagined that she'd have major problems with weight? This same thing happened to Kirstie Alley... That's controversial in itself as a guy would never bring up the idea of weight to women
  15. First and foremost, Bernard Herrmann's score for Taxi Driver. The whole thing because the theme is altered throughout different stages of Travis's slow spiraling into a psychotic criminal. He also did the score for Psycho and The Day The Earth Stood Still. The reason you hear strings in violent sequences is because of him; the reason you hear theremins during UFO sequences is because of him too. The man is genius. Only Ennio Morricone can top him, but this is by sheer output alone since Morricone didn't mind composing for low-budget movies with bad storylines. Herrmann would look at a script and immediately tell the director he wouldn't compose for a crappy movie.
  16. Haa :: I always sang it in the car as "fanny" too Didn't the band Nazareth get their name from this song?
  17. "Susanna" by The Art Company. It was only available "unplugged"
  18. Haha. Number 4 is "More Than This" by Roxy Music "It was fun for a while. There was no way of knowing... More than this. You know there's nothing. More than this. Tell me one thing..."
  19. Travis's radio cover version of Britnay Spears's "Baby, One More Time"
  20. The only movies with that guy I've seen are Cocoon and Cocoon 2, and they were awful. I know it's a classic, but - gosh darn it - it was boring I searched for his other movies and none mention anything close to what you described... mebbe it's a regional movie that never got out of Italy? I checked at IMDb all the way to the 50s in his starring roles. He made a few WWII movies, a bunch of bad musicals, and some terrible b-movies. I also see he was in Harry And The Hendersons
  21. I second this. Just type the lyrics and put them in quotation marks and it usually gives you a result or two.
  22. I'm surprised we got a coupla others in the 30s. At the Uni, most people scored in the 40s and 50s with two or three in the 60s ::
  23. I saw Midnight Cowboy again a couple of days ago. Great recommendation. Dustin Hoffman as "ratso" Rizzo is classic. Please don't tell anyone how I live
  24. I scored a 37 and I agree with its assessment
  25. Yowza! I used to be at another site that did that and it quickly went to the crapper. There was a weird, underlying dislike of the admins after that.
