  1. My favorite ones from Odelay are Lord Only Knows and Jack-Ass but the whole album is excelent :guitar:
  2. Kim Deal and The Breeders rocked the casbah in the 90s
  3. Tapestry by Carole King and Horses by Patti Smith
  4. Thought of another one: Trent Reznor (NIN) is a all-around studio master mind. I like the way he combines electronic sounds with real instruments and the mixing is superb. Unlike much of electronic music which is created digitally and the song is pretty much ready for the CD. I guess that's why most of the electronic musicians produce their own stuff while many 'real' musicians just wanna jamm out ::
  5. hey Mindcrime, at the time I was reading your post, your total number of posts was 666 You really got into the mood for Ozzy, huh
  6. Before I knew it, my computer became my stereo. Way more than half of my collection is in mp3 and when I buy a CD, I rip it and put the CD away. It's great to be able to listen to any song with a click of the mouse, plus I can make copies any time I want. ::

  8. hey Jr, I'll vote for you if you promise to lower the prices of CDs and concerts
  9. The problem with a home-made version is that they are in different keys (like a step and a half difference), so I don't see a way to mix them. I couln't find a version by both. sorry
  10. I would like to be something like Geza X. Record my stuff once in a while and have gigs around clubs and pubs, record and produce for local bands and do album covers and cheap videos. Also appear as a guest musician here and there playing this and that.
  11. I kinda like them, but I never understood why someone would be a fan of them. Even old-school punk rockers seem to love em. I just don't get them. ::
  12. fyi, I always reply to the answers to my questions. I got me about 8 Wings CDs 2 Harrison CDs and I'm still missing CD1 of Anthology I. I've spent a few hours at the site Jimmy posted and Im saving for the book. I was absorving data and my opinions are changing like never before right now. You can say I was getting ready for a few more questions. I didn't want to bump the thread just to say thank you. But since we are talking about this, thank you for you post. It was really great.
  13. the album version of 'revolution #9' has some trippy vocals at the very ending just before it faeds out and becomes inaudible. I heard somewhere that it actually went on for quite a long time. Did a longer version ever leaked out? I meant #1 ::
  14. There's a thing called CD Doctor or something like that that grings out a bit off the surface. Ive never used but I heard it's good. Good lukc
