Rayzor Posted March 11, 2008 Report Share Posted March 11, 2008 well, in the question it says "the way they were" so I'm guessing they're talkin about some kinda formal US thing, cuz if it were in alphabetical order then Alaska would be one of the first states when it was one of the last because it used to belong to the Soviet Union. The US bought the land for a million dollars which helped the Soviet economy. Alaska then became a state, one of the last. I got it right too, because I know we did this in school ages ago... can't remember anything else though, just enough to answer the question. I somehow think it had something to do with the flag, but that might have been something completely different, especially since there are only stars on there...
