RonJonSurfer
Keith Moon Enjoyed Dressing Up as the Queen Alice Cooper says the late Who star liked to be driven around L.A. as Queen Elizabeth II. Late The Who drummer Keith Moon enjoyed a bizarre pastime of dressing up as British monarch Queen Elizabeth II - and greeting fans from a specially adapted vehicle. According to pal and fellow rocker Alice Cooper, the outrageous British musician, who died in 1978, liked to be driven around the streets of L.A. posing as his favorite star. Cooper says, "He had the roof taken off his Rolls-Royce and the interior pulled out and a throne put in. "He then went up and down Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles standing up waving like the Queen. And sometimes he was the Queen - he would dress up like the Queen. Other days he would be (Adolf) Hitler. "But he was so over the top you couldn't take him seriously. He would just decide who he wanted to be that day and just do his own parade." Copyright World Entertainment News Network 2007

The Seeker
I'm not sure if I'll watch that movie. I can't imagine Mike Myers playing him.
TheLizard
How about I watch it, and then I tell you if it's any good?
The Seeker
Deal.
Tenacious_Peaches
I think, despite his proclivity for playing goofy characters, Myers is a very talented cat and will do a great job in this role.
RonJonSurfer
I watched a documentary about "Second City" recently. Mike Myers said that the day he graduated from high school (Toronto?), he went straight to Second City for an audition and was hired for a job with their traveling troupe. He started work on the day he graduated from high school...I think the boy had a plan.
miamisammy29
I, too, had a plan right out of high school....but on graduation night, I got smoked up and sh*tface drunk, and I lost the damn blueprints.
RonJonSurfer
But Sammy, you're still following your plan....nothing wrong with that brother.
miamisammy29
Now it's more like I'm following a MAZE, trying to find a tiny hunk of cheese. What a waste of time and energy!
