Brad_M Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 I don't get it. How is this a game? I guess that's why no one has posted anything in this thread since 1970 and it has less than 200 views. All right, I'll give it a try anyway. "Yogi" Berra was a baseball player.
Lucky Posted July 4, 2010 Report Posted July 4, 2010 I guess that's why no one has posted anything in this thread since 1970 "Yogi" Bear lived in Jellystone Park, had a weird addiction to picnic baskets, and a possibly unhealthy releationship with his "little friend" BooBoo.
Heimann47 Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 Something's not right here... 1. Marc's date of registration was in 2004, but this topic was started in 1970.(?) 2. Marc is also 42, but this topic was started in 1970, meaning he was 2 years old when he posted it... If that's the case, then you must have been a wonder-child, Marc. Aside from that, I didn't even know this site was around in 1970...
MindCrime Posted July 6, 2010 Report Posted July 6, 2010 It's a glitch that the oldest posts are marked from 1969. This isn't the only site that has that standard date, I've seen it on several others including MSN forums. This site is around 8 years old I believe.
Brad_M Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 "Yogi" Lonich was a guitar player for the bands Buckcherry and Fuel.
MindCrime Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 Yogi-zer, is something a street thug might say to a senior citizen.
bazooka Posted July 8, 2010 Report Posted July 8, 2010 The letter Y in Yogi is considered a consonant.
miamisammy29 Posted July 9, 2010 Report Posted July 9, 2010 The yogi cramped up and got stuck in his lotus position, and now has to walk on his knees and butt. I LOVE THIS GAME!!
Brad_M Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 I LOVE THIS GAME!! Yeah, this game rocks!
Brad_M Posted July 10, 2010 Report Posted July 10, 2010 When "Geezer" Butler and Black Sabbath would have band practice, sometimes their friends would come over and hang out. One friend called geezer "Gi" (pronounced with a hard 'G' like Gee, not Jee), for short. His friend's name was Jamal. Jamal would call Geezer before driving all the way to the practice place to be sure that they were practicing that night. When Geezer would answer the phone, Jamal would say: "Yo-Gi, U guys practicing tonight?"
Brad_M Posted July 24, 2010 Report Posted July 24, 2010 Yogi's is a bar and grill in Bloomington, Indiana. They have good food, lots and lots of different beers on tap, HDTV's everywhere and an outdoor patio.

Brad_M Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 "Yogi" is a hit novelty song recorded by The Ivy Three in 1960. It was inspired by the Yogi Bear character from TV's animated Huckleberry Hound show. "Yogi" by The Ivy Three
Shawna Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 "Yogi" is the garbled noise that comes out of the mouth of one who is supremely drunk and their sober friend has taken away their car keys. "Yogi m'keeesh baccchhhhhh, man."
bazooka Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Yogi Berra is alive (age 85) and featured in a current Aflac Insurance commercial. They've scripted up some new 'Yogi-isms' for him ([smaller] "if you get hurt and miss work, it won't hurt to miss work" [/smaller], etc.)
RockyRaccoon Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 Yogi Berra is alive (age 85) and featured in a current Aflac Insurance commercial. bazooka Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 That is an olddddd commercial You're nineteen. You don't know the meaning of 'old'.
MuzikTyme Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 LMAO Rocky probably still is wet behind the ears but, Bazooka, we both were young once long ago and wanted to feel as if we were a part of things...current or otherwise. Yes, he doesn't understand old but, my friend, do you understand young?
bazooka Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 do you understand young? I think I do, except for the "pants on the ground" part. But, enough of this off-topic palaver. Yogini is the feminine form corresponding to the masculine Yogi.
Crazy Don Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 "YOGI" was seen on a personalized West Virginia license plate on a black Jeep Cherokee (I believe it was a Cherokee as there was no indication of model name on the back) recently…
RockyRaccoon Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 You're nineteen. You don't know the meaning of 'old'. Haha by old I mean it's probably ten years old. I saw that commercial before I knew who Yogi Berra was. And I've got a pretty good grasp on what old is considering the music I listen to . Much better than my girlfriend who, when a song from the early 2000s comes on the radio says, "Man this song is old". I then ask her "Well if that's old, what do you consider the music I listen to?" and she says "Ancient".
