Carl Posted August 7, 2017 Report Posted August 7, 2017 The original version of "Spoonman" without the smothering guitars. I like this a lot better.
Carl Posted August 17, 2017 Report Posted August 17, 2017 This is what happens if you combine "Layla," "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant," and "Chelsea Dagger" by the Fratellis.
Carl Posted January 2, 2018 Report Posted January 2, 2018 Here's Earth, Wind & Fire playing from Los Angeles Forum float at the Rose Parade. They look like figurines on a cake.
Carl Posted March 29, 2018 Report Posted March 29, 2018 Love this song, and the scenery is great, but isn't it a little silly to bring electric instruments into the woods? bazooka Posted May 12, 2018 Report Posted May 12, 2018 A decidedly odd piece of music. Moodswing Sonata - The Aqua Velvets
Carl Posted May 14, 2018 Report Posted May 14, 2018 Odd but excellent. Sounds great on headphones. Found this when researching our interview with Tim Wheeler of the band Ash. Best use of cheerleaders since Nirvana.
Carl Posted June 25, 2018 Report Posted June 25, 2018 You surely remember his "Hello" video, but check out Lionel's "Running With The Night," where he crashes a white wedding.
Carl Posted September 11, 2018 Report Posted September 11, 2018 Battle rapping is a media cliché perpetuated by people who have likely never seen one in real life. Unless Eminem is involved, it's rather contrived. Snickers is particularly uninspired in this commercial. What a waste of Elton John.
Carl Posted May 15, 2019 Report Posted May 15, 2019 Rickie Lee Jones covers America in a video where he re-creates her classic looks:
Carl Posted April 9, 2020 Report Posted April 9, 2020 This video, to the best of my knowledge, is the last time we saw Mariah Carey dancing. Notice the very quick cuts when she does.
Carl Posted May 12, 2020 Report Posted May 12, 2020 Most quarantine-inspired songs seem a little trite to me, but this one is straight church.
