Otokichi
There's been a lot of talk and articles written in newspapers and magazines about how much better ask.com is compared to Google! Not exactly...I dropped by the site and did a search for "peter moon band." Since there are two bands by that name, I got the usual mix of sites referring to the last-heard-of-in-the-1990's "Hawaiian" Peter Moon Band and the current Rock band with a Hurricane Katrina concert link. What I didn't expect were pop-up ads that Safari couldn't supress, in spite of the "supress pop-up ads" option. Later, I looked for "Devastator" (An early World War II aircraft) and got an audio pop-up ad for a "Sexy Girls Talk" site! Google! didn't exhibit such behavior, so I won't be using ask.com any more. But if you like a site that makes your otherwise predictable computer act strangely, by all means, find out what those sexy girls want to talk to YOU about. Tenacious_Peaches
I love ask.com! I prefer it to Google. I've used it for as long as I can remember. It's comforting for me to pull up the site and see Jeeves there waiting to help me. I've never had any sort of problems with pop-ups.
