Elvish Posted March 8, 2007 Author Report Posted March 8, 2007 Wasn't it no nicknames for a week? I know time is crazy on the island, but I'll bet he'll be back to the nicks in no time
daslied Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 Anyone who stopped watching last season should be sobbing about now.
Kevin Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 I'm getting a little tired of new people. For an island this place is like a country, people popping up everywhere. I did like that Hurley beat Sawyer in ping-pong, funny! Ping-pong !?! Off to China with you Jane , along with Nixon , Forrest Gump and ... hurley ?
Elvish Posted March 15, 2007 Author Report Posted March 15, 2007 Anyone else getting tired of the Clare-Charlie story line? I used to love those two, but after Clare gave birth, they shifted focus away from her. And I'm kinda glad to know Charlie's curse wasn't lifted by the hippie car Can't wait for next week....anyone else think the island will have Locke answer for murder? He's being really shady (i.e. blowing up the station and I think he killed the guy on purpose because he knew he was in a wheelchair.
Elvish Posted March 15, 2007 Author Report Posted March 15, 2007 Okay, after reading my post: Lost has totally jumped the shark.
Kevin Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 Locke saw and experienced and survived ' the monster / guardian ' first... he 'understands' something the other main characters won't know for awhile . He's the main dude for an explanation . The island giveth ... and the island taketh away .
Elvish Posted March 15, 2007 Author Report Posted March 15, 2007 I know, Kevy. It doesn't make sense to me that he would go around trying to piss off the island, but what do I know?
TheLizard Posted March 15, 2007 Report Posted March 15, 2007 I don't see why everyone was so mad at Locke for throwing him through that thing. That way they knew they couldn't go through it. That was a pretty cool death scene, too.
Uncle Joe Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Anyone else getting tired of the Clare-Charlie story line? I've been waiting since Season I for these two to get killed off.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 I don't see why everyone was so mad at Locke for throwing him through that thing. That way they knew they couldn't go through it. That was a pretty cool death scene, too. I thought that was awesome. Huzzah for Locke! If I was in that situation, I would have done the same thing. I think the death scene was fake. Anyone could pop a couple of Alka Seltzers in their mouth and rig up some tubes filled with ketchup. The Others are all about mind intercoursing with the survivors.
Elvish Posted March 21, 2007 Author Report Posted March 21, 2007 Holy crap, I saw this thread with a new reply and had a mini-heart attack, thinking I'd missed the show
TheLizard Posted March 21, 2007 Report Posted March 21, 2007 I'm glad I'm not the only dork who had that reaction.
Tenacious_Peaches Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 Excellent. Excellent beyond all excellence. The word excellent was invented for last night's episode. It was so excellent I have an excellent hangover that Excederin can't even get rid of. Did I mention that I thought it was excellent?
Sweet Jane 61 Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 I haven't seen last night's show yet....but I am excited now to see it...should have it watched by tomorrow! Can't wait!! Oh and Peachy...being a DJ I will testify to the fact that yes I want to touch your _____ !!
Elvish Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 Locke is really starting to piss me off - why does he never do the right thing? He should have told the woman's son about his "dad" being a con man - he should have ratted him out to the cops, etc. And he shouldn't have blown up the sub, but then we'd be down two main characters if Jack and his hussy couldn't come back to the island. Anyone taking bets on who bites it next week? After this week, I'd almost root for Locke...probably Charlie though, I'm guessing?
Tenacious_Peaches Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Elvy! No! I love Locke! He always does the wrong thing because he has faith. He has faith that his dad really can be an honorable man, he has faith that he is meant for bigger and better things, he has faith that the island has chosen him to be there. He won't turn his back on what he believes, despite all of the evidence that should convince him to give up. The one time he did lose faith, the damned island almost blew to smithereens. So he was right about that, at least. Wow, I got a little worked up. I love me some Locke. I've never fought a pregnant woman, Elvy, but I probably could have taken you down just then. I hope Charlie is the one that ceases to be next week. Whiny little punk.
Elvish Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 I'm a lemming - the writers want us to be mad at Locke right now...
Elvish Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 And Locke won't die next week because this week was Locke-centric. The character with flashbacks in a death episode bites the dust, yes? Although they'll probably blow this theory out of the water too....
Tenacious_Peaches Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 They like to keep us on our toes. Maybe it will be Sun or Jin. No, they can't get rid of a pregnant woman. Jin it is!
Elvish Posted March 23, 2007 Author Report Posted March 23, 2007 It's supposed to be a Paulo/Nikki centric episode, so there you go... But didn't they say that a major character would die?
daslied Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 Who said that it's one of the "good" people?
