Brad_M
Now, any last thoughts on the common theme (aside from just being #1's) One more hint (with homage to the Riddler): when is a digital single considered a record? Are you talking about sales data? If so, I thought of that when I saw five of your song answers were certified platinum and three were certified gold by the RIAA, but songs #1 and #6 were not certified at all. Is there something else that ties them together? This is torture. What is the answer to your riddle?
cyberjudge
A digital single is a "record" when it achieves a milestone; for example, Born This Way, the 1000th #1 in the history of the Hot 100. The theme is Milestone #1's: the 100th, 200th, 300th, 400th, 500th, 600th, 700th, 800th, 900th and 1000th #1's on the Hot 100.
