Tenacious_Peaches
I don't know if anyone watched it, but it was pretty funny. Jack is wonderfully, deliciously, screamingly, hysterically funny. And of course, my man Kyle was there to lend a hand. I love him, too. They both rock my socks off. daslied
I only saw up until Neil's first song (which was great). I remember the monologue, the Sbarro thing and the Appalachian Clinic thing. That last one was really, really funny. I then fell asleep.
Tenacious_Peaches
You should have taped it for future repetetive viewings. You missed Kyle! Don't you have the ability to record things? What are you, Amish?
daslied
It has a copy of that Granny movie stuck in it right now. I'll fix it one day.
Tenacious_Peaches
Oh, I understand...all is forgiven. My granny gets a residual check every time someone watches her movie, you know.
daslied
I'd really like to meet her. I admire her work and willingness to go the extra inch for the sake of art.
Kevin
I am really stunned that SNL has survived this long . Seemed certain it would disappear in the '90's ... has it improved or simply a tradition now ?
Uncle Joe
I couldn't say, Kev. I never watch it these days.
Tenacious_Peaches
It hasn't improved, Kevin. It's turned into a habit for me. I tape it every week and fast forward through the crap. I have literally watched some episodes in 15 minutes. But I've been watching it forever and I'm not going to stop now. I'm a very loyal gal. But this past week was pretty good. There was a hilarious skit called "Lazy Sunday" featuring Chris Parnell and Andy Samberg. I laughed through the whole thing. Here's a link to it. Mr. Pibb + red vines = crazy delicious. Edited December 20, 2005 by Guest I forgot to give props to the funny skit.
_Laurie_
I feel the same way as Peaches....It's not what it use to be, but I do like to watch for the musical guest, and hosts that they have.

Tenacious_Peaches
Why, thank you, Ron. I'm just trying to keep up with you and your master wordsmithing.
Steel2Velvet
It just made me chuckle when I read it. It's like when the teacher was explaining to the class that Abe Lincoln had only candles and a fireplace to do his homework .. and a voice came from the back, "Candlelight would make it hard to find the remote if it fell down the couch cushions!" Shawna
Peaches... I just watched that SNL rap song this morning on the Internet. It was hysterical! The only rap song that has ever been recorded that I actually like - because I could laugh with it.
Tenacious_Peaches
Shawna, I had to watch it again. I swear it gets funnier every time I see it. "2, no 6, no 12, a baker's dozen. I told you that I'm crazy for those cupcakes, cousin."
Earth-Angel
SNL skits - these are the only SNL skits I have seen, but some of them are really funny! And I just realised, this is the most I have posted in a long time - must be the Christmas spirit
daslied
Awesome, EA. I forgot about the Robot Insurance commercial and the Star Wars auditions. As a side note, good to see you back in a greater capacity.
Earth-Angel
I don't "get" all of the jokes, but they are pretty funny There is also a list of the TV Funhouse clips on milkandcookies I have yet to look at. And thank you Das, it is nice to be back
