Bon Jovi Plays Small Show They launched their ninth studio album in New York City in front of 2,100 fans. Bon Jovi got intimate with fans in New York Monday night when they launched their ninth studio album, 'Have a Nice Day', at the opening of the new venue the Nokia Theater Times Square. The New Jersey rockers performed to just 2,100 people at the sold-out show, but the multimedia concert was also broadcast on more than 100 movie screens across the country. Frontman Jon Bon Jovi joked that the group is getting used to smaller shows. He quipped, "This is probably the smallest thing we did since dinner last night at my place." His hometown is a couple miles from mine and they were a popular local band before superstardom.
