OLD 55 6
When the goin' gets tough....LAURIE tries harder. TENACIOUS L. Good on you Laurie! These questions ARE tough, but I thought they'd show up in Google searches. SOME CLUES. Q1. Well it's NOT a U.S. Group, that's why I put "U.S. Debut". Also "late 60s" rules out any of the British Invasion Bands. The group's biggest decade was the 70s. Q2 I thought having surgery "on her lip" would most likely show on google, or somebody might have known it. She had her biggest Hit the same year as the accident (Early 70s). HERE'S THE QUESTIONS AGAIN. QUESTION 1. Which Group made their U.S. debut in the late 60s and only appeared at ONE venue in California, performing two concerts? QUESTION 2. Which U.S. female singer was injured (and later required surgery on her lip) in an auto accident in the early 70s ? Her brand new Citroen car was written off. (Gee I would have thought she'd own a Caddy with the $$$ she made from her BIGGEST HIT the same year).
