OLD 55 Posted July 19, 2005 Author Report Posted July 19, 2005 Hi Elvish. No limit to the quesses now, just a reasonable number. Please try again now, because it's not Elvis or the Beatles, sorry. This person DID cover an Elvis song though (not a big Hit).

OLD 55 Posted July 20, 2005 Author Report Posted July 20, 2005 Better than me. I didn't know who they were till I read the caption in my "Hits Of The 70s" Book. I think their "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" is a beautiful song. "Car Wash" was a fun song too. I'm going to try a Quote. I've just checked out 5 others on Google, and they're there word for word! Couldn't find this one! " .....is the biggest song in pop music history, pure ecstacy. It makes you want to fly". Which well known singer said that about which song ?
Brad_M Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 I just noticed 55. Linda Ronstadt also covered another song by The Miracles, "Ooh Baby Baby".
Brad_M Posted July 20, 2005 Report Posted July 20, 2005 55 wrote: " .....is the biggest song in pop music history, pure ecstacy. It makes you want to fly". 55, That would be Bjork . She said it about the song " Dancing Queen".
OLD 55 Posted July 20, 2005 Author Report Posted July 20, 2005 I just noticed 55. Linda Ronstadt also covered another song by The Miracles, "Ooh Baby Baby". She covered songs by everyone Mate. Her biggest Hit "You're No Good" was a cover of the UK 60s Group The Swinging Blue Jeans . Also she covered a couple Of Hollies ' songs + 3 Buddy Holly/Crickets , + others. ........................................................... 55, That would be Bjork . She said it about the song " Dancing Queen". :coolio:CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN BRAD! WELL DONE. You must have found it googling - good luck to you. I know why it didn't show when I googled - I COULDN'T SPELL ECSTASY ! jr will take away my A in English. I also got that Question wrong. I thought it was Bjorn from Abba, but you're right - it was her, Bjerk -probably best known for her tirades against the media. I'll put some more questions on in a few hours.
