Thanks for the photo of Keith, Edna.

You're a doll! :)

Yes, April Wine is from Montreal, Canada. They were at their peak in the late 70's and the early 80's. In my opinion, their best release has got to be "Nature Of The Beast" - 1981.

I dug up some 30 second sound clips for you, so you can become acquainted with April Wine.

From their album "Nature Of The Beast" - 1981:

Just Between You And Me :headphones: This ballad was their highest charting hit on the US Billboard charts. It reached #21.

Sign Of The Gypsy Queen :headphones:

Big City Girls :headphones:

From their album "Harder...Faster" - 1980

I like To Rock :headphones:

From their album "First Glance" - 1978

Roller :headphones: Great Song!

From their album "Power Play" - 1982

Enough Is Enough :headphones: My favorite April Wine song!

Don't forget to leave another Give! :)

Slim Harpo was one of those Loozyana bluesmen. I remember only one of his songs...Scratch My Back. He wrote many songs which were covered by white artsts such as the Rolling Stones, Yardbirds, Kinks, Dave Edmunds with Love Sculpture, Van Morrison with Them, Sun rockabilly singer Warren Smith, Hank Williams Jr., and the Fabulous Thunderbirds.

He was also known as Harmonica Slim. His real name was Mr. Earl....j/k...actually he was James Moore.
