Zabadak Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Yes, but why? CLUE: The flies were not insects...
Farin Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Yes, but why? CLUE: The flies were not insects... They are fishing flies? Maybe he's a fisher who wanted to call someone to brag about the giant fish he caught and when he spread his arms to "show" how large it was he accidentally broke the windows of the phone booth and that slit his wrists?
MindCrime Posted February 10, 2012 Author Report Posted February 10, 2012 ...call someone to brag about the giant fish he caught and when he spread his arms to "show" how large it was... Why would he stretch out his arms to show someone if he's talking to them on the phone
Zabadak Posted February 10, 2012 Report Posted February 10, 2012 ...because he couldn't help himself!
Rayzor Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Or French-Canadian... we tend to use our hands and arms as visual aids or for emphasis.
MindCrime Posted February 11, 2012 Author Report Posted February 11, 2012 he most likely would've been holding the phone with one hand, it seems unlikely that he would've placed the phone between his head and shoulder to involuntarily spread his arms
Rayzor Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 phone cords don't stretch out beyond the phone booth, so he dropped it while gesturing.
Farin Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 In a locked room, there are glass shards, a stone lying in a puddle of water and Romeo and Juliet lying dead on the floor. What happened?
Zabadak Posted February 14, 2012 Report Posted February 14, 2012 Sorry, I've heard this one before...
Brad_M Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Romeo and Juliet were dancing under a mirrorball in the room which for some unknown reason was filled with water. Romeo was so excited about the fun they were having that he took a stone from his pocket and tossed it up in the air where it shattered the mirrorball. When they looked up, shards of glass fell down and pierced their jugular veins.
Farin Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Close* but nope. * not really remember that you can ask yes / no questions about it.
miamisammy29 Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 Romeo and Juliet are your pet fish, and the fishbowl fell on the floor when the earthquake hit.
Farin Posted February 16, 2012 Report Posted February 16, 2012 No, that's just completely wrong! I don't know how you thought this could even be *close*... ... it wasn't an earthquake, but a stone (*the* stone) thrown through the window... the rest is correct
Brad_M Posted February 17, 2012 Report Posted February 17, 2012 Why didn't you just say there were two fish lying on the floor? How are we supposed to know the fishies names?

Zabadak Posted February 22, 2012 Report Posted February 22, 2012 Haha yes, I was thinking of that too!
