And as you do the things on your list, you can cross them off. Here goes. My travel bucket list (not necessarily in this order) See Italy Greece Germany Vermont Mardi Gras (planned for 2010) Central Park Deadwood Tombstone (planned for this summer) See the Painted Desert (done this weekend) Florida Keys Savannah, Georgia Smithsonian Nashville, TN My "to do" section (again, not necessarily in this order) See my son graduate from high school See my son graduate from college donate time to a charity get a college degree buy a house *with a yard *and a pool *and a big patio *on horse property Get a horse Write a book Hike Canyon de Chelly Hike the Grand Canyon Go river rafting (notice I did not say "white water" rafting) Learn to scuba dive Ride a quad See Cirque du Soleil (have tickets for August) See the King Tut exhibit Edited June 5, 2009 by Guest had to add a place... Go to Belgium and drink beer (Hopefully I will do so before or after Oktoberfest). Go to England and drink beer (Probably will do so sometime in the next 3 years. Might change my holiday schedule next year to include this. Oh, and I guess I should visit my relatives too). Go to USA and drink beer (No idea when I'll do this). That's about it. Go to see my friends to the South of Spain. Go to see my friends in California. Go to see my friends and family and also the town in NYC. Go to see my friends in Argentina. Go to see my friends in Paris and then in the South of France. Get lost with my Spanish hubby somewhere on the beach. Visit Edna in Spain so she can greet me with her delicious brownies. Go to Italy with Shawna. Go to Italy with hubby. See a Mets game at Citi Field.(this will happen in July!) Get David Wrights autograph. Make someone's dream come true. Visit the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame. Have a real Philly Cheesesteak with Uncle Joe. Party with Peachy, Lucky, and Shannon. Own a Mustang. Would I like to be Hugh Hefner for a day before I die? Sure. But I also enjoy doing absolutely nothing - just lay in bed and sleep and dream strange dreams. I actually never thought of this as a mortality thing, even though the name of the thread belies my thinking. I just have a list of places I'd really like to visit someday, and things I'd really like to do. Perhaps I should have called it the "full life list."...
