_Annabelle_ Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 I find "Sugar, Sugar" by the Archies undeniably entertaining and although I'm not a big Rolling Stones fan I do find "Miss You" almost irresistible. I guess its the disco beat thing. ::
cosmosis Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 I like 'So Happy Together' by The Turtles It's so happy
Costellogirl75 Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 XANADU (oh, the roller boogie fun!) All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth (I get WAY too much joy from singing this song) Love Potion Number 9
Aunt_Acid Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 All I Want For Christmas is My Two Front Teeth That's easy not to like. As a matter of fact, it's pretty easy to loathe.
_jr_ Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Love Potion Number 9 The Coasters did a lot of fun songs. Poison Ivy Charlie Brown Yackety Yak, et.al.
MindCrime Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 Bill Withers - Lean on Me Temptations - My Girl Pink Floyd - Comfortbly Numb Terry Jacks - Seasons in the Sun (even though it gets stuck easily) U2 - I still haven't found what I'm looking for Bob Marley - Jamming And of course there's Putting On The Ritz. I always hated that song & whenever it would come on, I would quickly change stations to avoid an irritating earworm.
Aunt_Acid Posted August 28, 2004 Report Posted August 28, 2004 I like Gene Wilder's and Peter Boyle's version much better.
downeyana Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 sexual healing -marvin gay.....or even better ..by maxamillion
skook Posted August 30, 2004 Report Posted August 30, 2004 I pulled out the Sgt Pepper movie soundtrack (Bee Gees/Frampton) for the first time in a while the other day. I hated it when it first came out, but now it sounds great. Steve Martin on Maxwell's Silver Hammer is hi-larious. And most of the other tracks have the Jeff Beck Group of that era. Oh, yeah songs that are hard not to like; MMMMBop, read the lyrics some time.
Aunt_Acid Posted August 31, 2004 Report Posted August 31, 2004 Oh, yeah songs that are hard not to like; MMMMBop You're kidding, right?
