Yes, but for some (many?) of us, these two bands are simply head and shoulders above all the rest. Here I am approaching a million years old, and I'm still absolutely in awe of the Beatles and the Stones. I suspect that there was something supernatural happening ;-)

Sorry - I think Ledbloodyzeppelin are boring. ;)

Their songs are too long and I doze. I wake up a bit in the Jimmy Page solos. :D

Well, this is basically the point, ie that the Beatles and the Stones are pretty non-controversial at 1 and 2, while beyond that there will be much discussion ;-)
