c_s_1987
Seven songs by the Beatles/Beatles solo/Stones? There are other good bands and artists in the world too, you know? I'm happy with the two 90s songs that made it.
MindCrime
I'm happy with the two 90s songs that made it. So am I, those are my favorite songs by those bands (Oasis and Collective Soul) Also nice to see Shocking Blue make it in and at #
LeeBB
Seven songs by the Beatles/Beatles solo/Stones? There are other good bands and artists in the world too, you know? Yes, but for some (many?) of us, these two bands are simply head and shoulders above all the rest. Here I am approaching a million years old, and I'm still absolutely in awe of the Beatles and the Stones. I suspect that there was something supernatural happening ;-) LBBBB
OLD 55
Yes Lee. I think that if most of us were making a 'Best Bands' List, we'd put them 1 and 2 and then think about the rest ?

OLD 55
Sorry - I think Ledbloodyzeppelin are boring. Their songs are too long and I doze. I wake up a bit in the Jimmy Page solos.
LeeBB
Sorry - I think Ledbloodyzeppelin are boring. Their songs are too long and I doze. I wake up a bit in the Jimmy Page solos. Well, this is basically the point, ie that the Beatles and the Stones are pretty non-controversial at 1 and 2, while beyond that there will be much discussion ;-) LBB
