You Never Even Called Me By My Name (The Perfect Country & Western Song) - David Allen Coe (1975) - I like this song but I can't stand him so much that I don't even want to vote for him.

I know Peach, me too. Dislike him I mean. I really didn't expect any votes for the song, but I had to nominate it for my kid. It would have been his birthday Monday of this week. He first heard it when he was 12 or 13, and the last verse just tickled him. He used to put his arm around me & sing it to me. ;)

I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison ... He loved that line. :D

Great Top Ten! I even like the songs I didn't vote for. :)

Not my favorite top but it'll work. If I would have put "Always The Sun", as my number 2, it might have made the list. Maybe next time.

"I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know", will also get a renom at some point I'm sure. I love that song.

Thanks to everyone that voted on "Winter Windows" as well. The lyrics of that song are my favorite part about it. It has a melancholy sadness to it. It will be back as well ;)

Nice ten on the whole

I´m glad R.B.Greaves is there... :)

Am I the only one who think that Take A Letter Maria is more than a little creepy? If Every Breath You Take is the stalkers' anthem, then R.B.Greaves is the pin-up boy for sexual harrassment in the workplace.

Great song anyway ;-)
