edna Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Is this the most famous example for a famous song called I´m A Loser? I know, I´m being cruel... Well, yes he is, I´m afraid I gave a big hint... cause I don´t have the time to find a new one so I´ll let someone else answer...
The Seeker Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 No. Edna's got the correct answer. He's not really famous for anything, only for missing out on lots of fame.
MindCrime Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 (edited) Can we get a name?Pete Best I know it's not DeYoung, I was just making a joke. Edited April 2, 2009 by Guest added my guess
LeeBB Posted April 2, 2009 Report Posted April 2, 2009 Can I post a picture? Or is that Edna's job now? LBB
The Seeker Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 You're right, MindCrime Well, edna didn't want to, but technically it's MC's turn...
edna Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 Please, post a picture whoever wants to... I´m quite busy now...
Farin Posted April 3, 2009 Author Report Posted April 3, 2009 doesn't matter who as long as someone posts
LeeBB Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 One used to be a bit famous. The other is famous for all time. Either name will do ;-) Love, Lee.
The Seeker Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 The guy on the left sort of looks like Rod Stewart.
LeeBB Posted April 3, 2009 Report Posted April 3, 2009 No, sorry Seeker. Not a young dark-haired Rod Stewart...
LeeBB Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Okay, maybe it's a little hard? Here is another picture of the same guy (the one on the left, the famous one): ANy easier? LBB
Epiphany Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 The guy on the right looks very familiar. I know he's from a famous band (I think) ...Joe Perry?
LeeBB Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 The guy on the right looks very familiar. I know he's from a famous band (I think) ...Joe Perry? To tell you the truth, I wouldn't expect anyone to get the guy on the right. When I say he was a bit famous, I mean a tiny tiny bit. The guy on the left is the bona fide Rock God. Perhaps I should post a picture of his statue? Maybe another clue... Seeker was kind of close... this guy is in some ways even more Scottish than Rod Stewart. LBB
LeeBB Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Is left guy Ron Wood? Well, I certainly think he looks more like Ron Wood than like Rod Stewart, but no, he's neither of those two. LBB
edna Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 The guy on the left is Chris Norman (Smokie)? Nah, he´s not famous... The non-famous could be David knopfler?
LeeBB Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Sorry, but not Chris "Rock God" Norman, nor even Mark Knopfler. Think bigger. Think Rock. Think Rock God ;-) Keep it up! LBB
edna Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Chuck Berry? Keith Richards? Eric Clapton? Jerry Lee Lewis? Rory Gallagher? Guy Williams "El Zorro"?
LeeBB Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 (edited) Well, those are all very good answers, but none are quite right. Let me recap: Famous-for-all-time Rock God In some ways more Scottish than Rod Stewart Immortalised as a statue So here's another clue... I have made the pilgrimage to his grave (it's about 2000 miles from my place). LBB Edited April 4, 2009 by Guest
LeeBB Posted April 4, 2009 Report Posted April 4, 2009 Keith is a kindred spirit, I would say. But not the guy.
