c_s_1987 Posted August 24, 2009 Report Posted August 24, 2009 Albert Hammond. Your hint gave it away.
edna Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Ian Anderson on guitar? No, he's bald now... British icon?
c_s_1987 Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 (edited) Of course he's a British icon. But you still have to guess who he is. The picture is from the 70s, he looks rather different now. I don't think Ian Anderson has played electric guitar for about 40 years. It was the first instrument he learnt, but he quickly decided he would never be as good as Eric Clapton, so he gave it up and learnt the flute (and later the saxophone, mandolin, bouzouki, trumpet, violin etc etc) instead. edna Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 (edited) I know that face! He looks like Joe Cocker now... I cannot google images on this computer but could it be Martin Barre (Jethro Tull' s guitar player)? Edited August 25, 2009 by Guest
edna Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 Pity, I thought the name of the musician was there... Anyways, I googled on the other computer and yes, it's Martin Barre... So if you say "Go" I will post my picture... ...or maybe I'm wrong? I should google again...
edna Posted August 25, 2009 Report Posted August 25, 2009 I think I'm correct... so here' s a new one:

c_s_1987 Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 You caught me with your URL! I always save the images as "dontcheat" before uploading them to Imageshack. As for edna's guy - I don't know.
edna Posted August 26, 2009 Report Posted August 26, 2009 Hint: he was at Woodstock. And he was amazing...
