edna Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Oh, thank you, CanAm, I thought nobody would post... I deleted my previous post...
Rayzor Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Too easy... Luckily I don't normally guess at these because I find it difficult to post a photo that doesn't reveal a name. Even if I take a shot & guess right I let someone else go for me.
Brad_M Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 Luckily I don't normally guess at these because I find it difficult to post a photo that doesn't reveal a name. I see CanAm finds it difficult, too.
edna Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 CanAm, maybe you should post another one. Try the "manage files" link. Somehow, the name shows when you click on the picture, as you posted the link for photobucket, not the link for just the picture. If you prefer photobucket, I will tell you how to do it...
Brad_M Posted April 28, 2014 Report Posted April 28, 2014 CanAm titled the photo with the guy's name, that's why it shows the identifier when you look at the pic. He needs to change the name of the file when saving it, so it doesn't show. When I save a photo to my computer, I change the file name. Then when I save it to my photobucket account, it shows what I changed it to and not the original name that was attached to it. Then after the photo is guessed, I go back into my photobucket account and add the name to the title so I remember who it is in the future when I see the pic.
edna Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 That's it. Just delete the name of the picture and write 111 or whatever. THEN, you can upload it on photobucket...
CanAm Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 Helena, why don't you post one for now. I'm having trouble with my desktop (I really need a new one) and it's difficult and time consuming to try to do it on my tablet. Once I figure out what's wrong with or replace my desktop, I'll try again. In the meantime, why don't you try to stump us again.
edna Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 No problemo, hope you can fix your desktop or get yourself a new one...
CanAm Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Leonard Bernstein, perhaps? I'm just grasping at straws here.
Zepfan Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 I believe you're correct CanAm ..... found the image on Google
CanAm Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 I figured it had to be a mid to late 20th century personality and reasoned he was probably a performer or conductor rather than a composer. I' m still not quite sure. If Helena had not said he was classical, I probably would have tried some old rockabilly star, what with the hair and all.
edna Posted May 1, 2014 Report Posted May 1, 2014 Mr. Leonard Bernstein, yes... A star. I love him...
edna Posted December 29, 2014 Report Posted December 29, 2014 Founder of a famous american band with a three words name in 1967.
Brad_M Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 What is Strawberry Alarm Clock? :sing1:
edna Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Not them. 21 consecutive Billboard Top 40 hits.
chutzpah Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 Is it Joe Walsh? (after eating a strawberry alarm clock)
edna Posted December 30, 2014 Report Posted December 30, 2014 No, he's one of the three founders of a band from L.A. They covered songs from Harry Nilsson, Laura Nyro, Randy Newman, Paul Williams, Elton John among others. very fammous band in the seventies though formed in the late sixties.
