blind-fitter
:guitar: what a beat to dance around the room too. Talkin' about 100 years. Great Song :happybanana: "100 Years" is the opening track of one of the most oppressively depressing albums in my collection: "Pornography". (First line: "it doesn't matter if we all die" sets the tone...) Not the sort of thing I would normally associate with the dancing banana! But, hey, I am really chuffed that you're enjoying it so much.

Uncle Joe
Hi, my nick is Karma and I am Lea's momm I don't know how to do this yet so will just jump in. I would like to nominate: Don't Stop Believin' by Journey and Fields Of Gold by Sting I didn't see either on the big list. Hiya Karma. Sorry i missed your introduction to SF. Welcome!! As you already know by now, we just love Lea. She's a good egg. Now, ummmm....you will still have to give Sammy your lunch money when he asks for it. I'm sure Lea has put you hip. Oh, nice noms, too. Journey's got my vote.

bazooka
Good day, karma. I'm the Resident Self-Important Curmudgeon here on the message boards. bazooka is intensely curious about the music of your youth. I'm almost 60 years of age, and in my teen-age years it was Beatles, Stones, British Invasion, Motown Soul, San Francisco Psychedelia and Electric Blues. But what were the happenin' sounds for a teen-ager before the Rock & Roll avalanche? The popular acts of the time were Perry Como? Patti Page? Eddie Fisher? The Four Lads? Were kids listening to that? I guess the same song was recorded by multiple different artists? Was there any interest among young white folks for 'Race' records (R& back in the day? Please give us a history lesson when you have time!
