MindCrime
What is your favorite thread, that you originally started on the SongFacts forums.
Farin
I don't think I'm a very good topic-creator, but after reading your question I browsed a bit through the ones I did start and stumbled across a news story that lead to a very interesting philosophical discussion... see here
Rayzor
I've never really started a thread, unless the creative writing stuff and the Get the word out counts. If they do, then everything I've written in the creative writing because people seem to enjoy it and I usually get good feedback.

Tenacious_Peaches
This is my favorite stupid thread I've posted. This is my favorite thread title I've posted. This is my favorite ultra-serious thread I've posted. This is one of the many "Tell Me About..." threads I have started over the years. I love hearing suggestions from my Songfacts family about artists I'd like to know more about.
Ombre Vivante
I think thred is well on its way to becoming totally legendry
Steel2Velvet
This is my favorite ultra-serious thread I've posted. I believe TP's thread (referenced above) was posted about the time I came to SF. I did not read it then, but am so glad Mindcrime's thread was started so that I could read it now. Peaches, this is not creative writing .. .. this is creative living.

Batman
I can't really tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but my views tend to be pretty regular, it's just that most people here aren't my age.
Steel2Velvet
... but my views tend to be pretty regular, it's just that most people here aren't my age. What's age have to do with anything, among a group of people whose common bond is a love of music and a disdain for Lawrence Welk? ... and possibly gansta rap? skybluesky
This is my favorite ultra-serious thread I've posted. The son of god, his poor by-the-spirit-knocked up mama, and his step daddy the carpenter, I came across that t'other day whenst I was feeling nostalgic for old posts. You are very brave to share your past. I had some time of a crappy home existence myself. I think that's why we gravitate to one another. You are a statue and we all pray to your big toe. As pour moi, I like my literature songs thread because people are being nice and contributing and no one has told any one they suck, etc. Being nice is groovy kids. Ombre Vivante
I can definitely understand the disdain for wanksta rap, but NOT LAWRENCE WELK!

Sweet Jane 61
I enjoyed this one and got quite a few laughs out of it but was also interesting how we all differ on what we call Stoner Music. Great replies in this one
Batman
that looks like a good thread!
Ombre Vivante
I can't really tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but my views tend to be pretty regular, it's just that most people here aren't my age. I realise that by the types of retorts I was getting in some other thread: Everyone else read so much younger and high-strung whilst yours was composed and funny It just dawned on me that my favourite threads are the ones where I am right... and that's a lot of topics
