I would have said 60s over 70s, Cross, but 50s over 00s, Tick. Remembered Big Yellow Taxi, Joni Mitchell Tick. I know edna has participated in All Tens. Not sure about Lucky, bazooka, phil, Laurie. ? And as for Dappled's question, three big Crosses. BTW, this Thread is for ALL to use. How about sharing some of your thoughts/good experiences of Past Top Tens. The Seeker
I don't know how but I managed to miss the first 17 tens completely... I don't even remember seeing them before that. But then I joined for #18!
c_s_1987
Chuck Berry, but 3 other songs of his nearly made it! We have a winner! Next I'll ask the opposite question: Name two bands/artists who have featured in the Top Tens ten or more times without getting to number one. (If I counted correctly, there is four in total). c_s_1987
For the record, I have participated in either every or almost every Top Ten since I first joined, in TT #8. There are a few tens in which I have nominated and not voted or vice versa.

The Seeker
That's probably the reason for why I didn't notice them. I paid zero attention to that forum for a long time.
Steel2Velvet
I participated from #2 onward, missing one or two here or there. But this certainly was a great endeavor that now has built memories for a lot of people. All thanks to Old 55. We can all guess which group has the most number ones, but which (billed as a) solo act has the most number ones?
skybluesky
Have we covered which Ten had the most nominations and which ten had the least nominations for a single Ten? I would like to know that.

OLD 55
Thanks Fintan. That's the sort of thing I'm interested in - history and milestones of the Top Ten. I'll have a go at Chris' question. I don't think Elton John nor Queen have ever had a #1, and I'm sure they would have had more than ten entries each. And also Ron's (S2V). I'll say Bob Dylan. Now I'm going into "Every Song...." to check.
