Because it builds up emotion throughout the whole song, then the drums come in its beautiful. Robert Plant starts wailing with that amazing voice of his, and then perhaps the greatest guitar solo of all time. I sometimes ask the same question, and then I hear it and all my doubts are gone. One of the greatest songs of all time without a doubt. I still prefer Since I've been Loving You for Led Zeppelin though.

I dont think it does. When people say Best Guitarist, you should put aside all this crap about being influential and crediting others. Jimi Hendrix was and always will be IMO the most talented and original guitarist ever.

Van Halens good music stopped IMO after their first album. I dont like their second one much, and I dont like the voice of Sammy or the other guy. Jump is allright, but i really wanted the album 1984, and when I got it it was a bit of a letdown to be honest. I dont mind Poison, or Scorpion. Motley Crue is ok too, I like their version of Helter Skelter, although the Beatles version is lightyears ahead.

AC/DC, but they didnt start in the late 70's, and there are only 2 bros. I dont know many Australian bands.
