  1. OK, it's ABBA's song "Does Your Mother Know," probably their biggest hit with a male vocal. But I don't know who else did it?
  2. And of course they should also do Jimi Hendrix!
  3. Some of my favorites include: The Life cereal commercial with Mikey in it. "Let's get Mikey to try it! He won't eat it! He hates everything!" "He likes it! Hey Mikey!" The Purina Cat Chow commercial? "Purina Cat Chow, chow-chow-chow?" The 9-Lives cat food commercials with Morris in them? "Morris! Time for din-din!" And of course all those 7up commercials with Geoffrey Holder in them.
  4. I'm pretty sure that it's the Hollies' version as I am not really familiar with Neil Diamond's version. Olivia Newton-John also recorded the song?
  5. A lot of people think Peter, Paul & Mary's "Puff" (aka "Puff the Magic Dragon") was about drugs but PP&M vehemently deny this!
  6. He was more of a two-hit wonder, as eight years before "Drift Away," he had a hit with "The 'In' Crowd." Another song that I don't think hasn't been mentioned yet is "Shattered Dreams" by Johnny Hates Jazz. I don't know why they had another hit?
  7. If the commercial is for Minute Maid orange juice, the song is "Limbo Rock" which was originally done by Chubby Checker. Of course the song in the Tropicana commercial for its similar product is Olivia Newton-John's "Physical"?
  8. The Rolling Stones' "Jumpin' Jack Flash" I was born in a crossfire hurricane?
  9. I suppose no one has mentioned BTO (Bachman-Turner Overdrive) yet? After Randy Bachman left, they were simply BTO (although drummer Robbie Bachman remained in the group) Also, the Bay City Rollers were sometimes referred to as the BCR's?
  10. Another song in which the title appears only in the last line is "Questions 67 & 68" by Chicago.
  11. And she's from my neck of the woods!
  12. There are some misheard lyrics in "All Along the Watchtower" that can be X-rated, but I don't really think that's the case. However, the album cover as released in England and other places outside the US has a lot of naked women on the cover?
  13. It's pretty obvious that mine is Eric Cartman, the po'd fat kid on "South Park." I see a bit of myself in Cartman?
  14. And don't forget the Shadows of Knight!
  15. "Moonlight Feels Right" by Starbuck. And the funny thing is, they were from Atlanta! Also these songs that mention Baltimore in the lyrics: Engine Engine #9--Roger Miller The Lady Came from Baltimore--Johnny Cash Chattanooga Choo Choo--Glenn Miller
  16. You're probably thinking of "Take on Me" by a-ha, but I'm sure that's not the song he's thinking of?
  17. Sounds to me like "Mouth" by Merril Bainbridge.
  18. Anything by Ray Stevens (except "Everything Is Beautiful," "Turn Your Radio On," "Misty" and "Mr. Businessman") Anything by Weird Al Yankovic Anything by Cledus T. Judd
  19. The only song of theirs I remember is "Keep On Smiling."
  20. In Charleston, WV, none of the stations are owned by Clear Channel, but in Huntington, most everything is. And apparently the nearest station that carries "John Boy & Billy" in the morning is one of those?
  21. Deep Purple--Smoke on the Water
