but Shawna, thats the point. The phantom is a social reclusive, he hasn't developed the social skills need in life. He fell in love with a beautiful lady who rejects him for no real reason, only the fact that his face is deformed. He's obsessed with her and needs her to show him that hes not a monster. He becomes wild with rage and doesn't know that killing is wrong, so vents his anger through toying with people people (who he feels has wronged him) and kills because he feels that he is helping her to be noticeed in the thing she loves, OPERA singing. Hence the high pitched voice OPERA!

Kinda. I think what your saying is music can affect feelings (which i agree with) but it won't stop you feeling other feelings throught the day. Also, music can be used as a means to determine what you want to feel ie happy sad whatever.is this correct? i agree with that, but for me it's only temperatry whereas with my friends its the whole day, no matter what else goes on in there life (with the exception of someone dieing).

People often tell me that there mood depends on which piece of music they heard first on that day. If its a happy piece their happy, if its sad so are they. i can understand to a degree in the fact that some music makes me cry and other peices make me smile. However to say that music determines what i feel, i wouldn't. It sounds a bit far feached to me as the feelings a piece of music makes me feel are only temperary, but they say it lasts all day. I'm not convinced music is THAT powerful...

I ment the musical film version, i have never seen it on stage. Then origianal i was refering to was the black and white version that had none of the haunting songs or scenes that the remake has. lots of people hate the remake of the film but i disagree...

Slash is awesome on the guitar however my all time best guitarist has to be Jimi Hendrix by a long way. the fact that he had to teach himself just highlights his greatness in my humble opinion...
